Research x Action

The EarthLab Research x Action Lunch and Learn series provides a space to learn more about the skills needed to take environmental and climate research beyond academic publications and labs into practical problem-solving, including collaborating with stakeholders from the start to define environmental problems and co-create solutions (as seen in the UW Community Engagement framework).

Each month, we will host speakers who will share lessons from their efforts to think differently about environmental research and action. The discussion will include reflection on challenges and opportunities encountered, the specific awareness and skills that were developed, and recommendations for others attempting similar feats. We’ll leave some time open for a Q&A with the audience. For the in-person attendees, lunch will be provided.
